Prayer For Those In Crisis

Lord God, You are Almighty and at one time in my life I acknowledged that. I took on the name of Christian. I ministered in power as I acknowledged Your presence with me and upon me. I held back not the name of Jesus. I lived the Christian life. I believed in You. You were my God. You were my All and All. I did not shrink back from knowing You and learning of You daily.
Then something happened in my life that made me question what was unhappiness in my life. Why did it happen to me? What is this disappointment? Why am I discontent? Why did You let this great upheaval in my life? Did You not care, or is it I expected special privilege that is above the sufferings of Christ Jesus Himself? Why did I turn away from You? Why did I refuse to read the Word of God? Why doesn't the testimony of the saints that have gone before me succor me? Why have I refused to be in Your Presence and allow You to instruct me? Why did I reject Your council and comfort?
I am in crisis God, and did not realize that I ran from You and ran to gospels that is not Gospel: I sought advice that is not Godly and even physical and emotional comforts that You rightly call sin. I sought everything but Your voice to me. Activity and self-serving interest prevailed over Your voice and guidance. You speak splendid words and they penetrate, and I would not hear or see. The Holy Spirit convicts and counsels, and I have grieved Him. I am awakened
Let me remember the day You called me into the Kingdom of God. Let me rejoice as I did on that day. Let me repent of those days upon days that I filled my life with opportunities and activities and counsels that were not of You. Forgive Lord, and allow me to return to Truth, however painful it might be. I am a prodigal and now might it please You to restore me to Kingdom glory. Help me to minster to the countless others who also grew tire of the cross. Forgive my sins that were upon our Savior on that day of Calvary.
I rejoice that my sin is not greater than your love toward me. God, have mercy on me a sinner. I will silence myself and my objections and hear how You would minister and respond to me, no matter what avenue You bring to me. I am humbled as I pray in the name of the Savior, who is calling me to fruits worthy of repentance today. Amen

God, our Father Creator of all of mankind, in remembrance today of the nation and people, Israel, we come into Your Presence on this celebratory day of Hanukkah. We ask for peace on the Jewish people's behalf from all oppressive nations.
Your Holy Word accounts of their trials and cruel bondage. As Christians, we read not only the historical account, but we are drawn to You and You accepted us as Your very own through Jesus Christ, the Messiah. We thank You for the wisdom and instruction passed down to us.
We give You grateful acknowledgment that You have received Gentiles into Your Kingdom. We thank You for the ministry of saints such as Paul who gave his life to bring the Good News unto us.
We forget not that we have been grafted in and that the branch was broken off by unbelief. We also recognize that You are able to graft them in again and shall do this as proclaimed in Your Word.
As they celebrate this day with custom, we remember and respect their tradition and we note that the Law is kept but the spirit must be released through the merit of Yeshua and the baptism of the Ruach HaKodesh.
We pray, O God, for love and compassion for all this day who have not turned to You in repentance and reconciliation.
We pray for their awakening and salvation.
We pray that those that have been hurt and offended by all anti-Semitism find it in their hearts to forgive.
We pray that we might desire to know and care about the Jewish roots of Christianity.
We pray that Thy Church might awaken from the deep slumber of exclusiveness and seek out, on Your behalf, the reconciliation You so desire for the Jewish.
We pray that the church become more prophetically aware and knowledgeable so that we might see the key world events that are occurring, even as we pray, in the world today that is signaling the soon return of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
As empowered and praying Christians, we unite in our care for the Jewish, and that coming day, when Israel shall blossom again.
May those that celebrate receive Your blessings upon them and their households. We pray in the Name of the Root and the offspring of David. Blessed be Thy Name forevermore. Amen

Prayer For Those In Nursing Homes
Heavenly Father, may we revere the elderly. May we be grateful for our location that provides a home with care to live out the end of life. May we honor those caregivers of pure heart that serve these patients each day.
It is said that the job of caregiver to the elderly is ranked one of the most depressing vocations there is. In this light, we must examine ourselves as to why the end of the road, so to speak, is not as valuable as the beginning of life. We have to honestly search within to see if we cannot contribute to the well-being of those that reside in a nursing home facility. Lord, examine us as we deal with the inevitable mortality of these aged ones
We know that in You there is no variance of light. We put our trust in You alone that the good work that You have begun in these loved one's life's will be brought to perfection.
We trust You, Sovereign God that You will care over these beloved one's and watch over them.
We thank You Lord, that wherever one has to reside, Christ Jesus, our Savior still dwells within.
We ask You for stimulation, even adventure, for these beloved residents.
We ask that their lives may not grow stale, or weary.
Grant them purpose and meaning in their life. Be to them as magnificent as the day they first invited You into their heart. For those that yet hold You at arm's length, arise, O God, in this midnight hour, and send to them those people that will proclaim Your name with assurance of eternal life.
Help us to all redeem the time wisely with these loving people. Bless, Lord, as only You can do. Might we be so confident to pray that the same mercy we mete to them be returned to us in our last leg of the journey. We pray in the name of our compassionate Savior, Christ Jesus. Amen

Prayer For The Persecuted

Lord, it is not as if you had not forewarned us. The day has come upon us when Your Word took significance. Mat 5:10 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Bless me now, O Lord.
We are righteous only through the renewing of the Holy Ghost as Christ bore witness. Now we are falsely accused, disdained and criticized to say the least, as You told us this would occur. We have known Your Word as truth from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zechariah, onward from You then to Your servants who walk and preach the glorious Good News. Now it has fallen upon us. Now Your Word takes Light and meaning in our life. Now we watch and pray as You commanded us to do.
Lord, may our faith not fail.
Lord, may our forgiveness be extended to our abusers.
Lord, may Your blessing be upon us.
Lord, may we turn this into a glorious testimony for You.
Lord, may we not count the cost.
Lord, may we not make others share in our pain, but share in our joy instead.
Lord, may our sacrifice of thanksgiving reside in heaven's hall of fame.
Lord, may You judge the unrighteous expediently.
Lord, may we rejoice in heaven on that day You reveal our works that will follow us.
Lord, may we look upon the saints that have preceded us, and those that have gone ahead of us and are living this already. Forgive us for our inattentiveness now.
Lord, may we truly and fully submit this grievance into Your hands so that we might know that justice will triumph.
Thank You Lord, for not only what You have spared me from that I am not aware of, but that also which You allow me to experience that I might glorify You with my life. Help me to remember those that are in bonds as I reach beyond myself and continue to support their cause. May my sacrifice be a pleasing offering to You, and may I enter into the fullness of the joy of the Lord as I submit to You. Hinder Satan from having his way with me so that I may be presented to You as a glorious Bride, unspotted and without wrinkle. Keep me in my trial and tribulation, through Christ Jesus our Bridegroom, I pray. Amen

Heavenly Father, even King David hurt and lodged a complaint before You in prayer. Psa 42:5 "Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation." He went on to say that he shall again praise You because he knew You were his salvation. I have not arrived there yet.
Lord, I can't get to the praise realm when all I feel is sorrow and depression. I need a divine touch from You. To say I am disquieted and in turmoil would only scratch the surface. My emotional wounds are deep. My pain and unrest are unbearable. I cannot find the release of this situation.
I shouldn't turn to You last as I have. I should have stopped all activity and wrestled with You in prayer as Jacob did to get his blessing. I know there is no hope outside of Your divine comfort. I have sought people and advice. I have cried and even inwardly screamed. I have done everything humanly possible to release this burden to You. I now declare that this situation is Yours. I give it to You and I will not take it back. Jesus said to come unto Him and He would give rest. I rest in Jesus, the Master of my life, and I ask for realization and evidence that I will be restored, and made whole again, and move on from this dark valley.
When unbelief creeps in, alert me. When doubts assail me, speak to me. When I desire to take this burden back, prevent me. When the devil rears his ugly head at me, protect me. This sorrow is now Yours. Heal me Lord, and let me go on with my life. Give me the ability to praise You and know the fullness of joy You have promised believers. I pray through Jesus' name, the One who died for us so that we might have life. Amen

Father God, I will labor to bring souls to the Savior through the preparation and enablement of the Holy Spirit.
Father God, I will recognize and glorify the Holy Spirit who performs this reconciliation to You.
Father God, I will be open and receptive to all that You place in my path.
Father God, I will be gentle and compassionate remembering Your great mercies.
Father God, I will be truthful and I will wield the Sword of the Word in converting those to Your glorious Kingdom.
Father God, I will expect opposition and troubles at times, but I will remember the joy of angels in heaven when a sinner repents.
Bless my labors, grant power to my words and deeds, and cause many to enter into the joy of eternal life, through the shed blood of Christ Jesus. Amen

Heal me, O God, and I will be healed.
To the Trinity alone I will give the glory, honor and praise.
Only by Christ's healing stripes may I receive this miracle.
I ask You to help whatever unbelief I might have. Enlarge my faith to receive.
I know the Holy Spirit is present right now with Power to make me whole.
Grant me a touch, Lord, and recreate that which has gone awry.
Make me whole as I thank and praise You for the manifestation of my wellness.
May I then exalt You for what You have done in me, through Christ Jesus' name. Amen

Holy Spirit, You are the Eternal Spirit, our Helper, Comforter and Intercessor. You are One with the Father and the Son. You are Triune. On this day of Pentecost we honor Your grace and truth as our Sanctifier. We recognize Your Godhead and we thank You for the fullness of the Spirit come upon us.
We have failed at times to see You move in our lives, in our church, in our leaders, and in the Body of Christ. We have not credited You for Your works, yet we have inner fulfillment because of You, and we have power in Christ because of Your enablement. We honor You this day, and we desire to worship You in a manner more honoring of You in the reflection of our calling. We sorrow for the times we have grieved You. We ask forgiveness this day as You extend grace and infill us.
You are the Breath of Life, the Spirit of Wisdom, You moved in holy men of old, and You pour out Your Spirit upon us in these last days. Send us latter day rain. With openness we receive You. You are what is good and generous in us. You equip us for Kingdom service and empower us to avail. You prune us, and You inspire us to strive for a holy life. You are the Spirit of the prophets who wrote the Holy Word, and You recall Scripture to our mind in our time of need. We praise You for Your Wisdom.
You are our Teacher and our Friend. You created beauty, life and design. You preserve our lives, and we live and move and have our being in You. We ask You this day to deepen our spiritual commitment and to increase our fruits. We ask You to freshen the gifts You have given us and to move us with zeal to use them for Your glory. We thank You for victory and unity. We exalt You that we have access to Your Presence. We praise You that You have revealed Yourself as Trinity to us. May we walk worthy of the desire that is in our hearts today as we thank You for Pentecost. Come Holy Spirit! Amen

Blessed Father God, we thank You this day for mother's that You have uniquely designed in wisdom for children. We recall that Jesus' mother was called, "highly favored and blessed," and we desire to convey to our own Mom on this day that she is also exactly that to us.
Whether it is a birth mother, an adopted mother, a step-mother, a spiritual mother, or a family member that stepped in to raise us, we thank You that You have placed that special one in our life.
May You, O Lord, propel us beyond the prayers today to action in displaying our gratitude for Mom.
May we be mindful of the many sacrifices she made to see that we were taken care of throughout our formative years.
May we be grateful that she went the distance to continue to fulfill our well-being needs as we grew.
May we treat her as blessed on more than this occasion today.
May we understand her as she has understood us.
May she know that she did her very best in guiding us to the point that we are now at.
May she be comforted in the knowledge that she produced a child who is now a responsible and decent person.
May You, O Lord bless and keep this special Mom under the shadow of Your wings.
Might she always rejoice in the knowledge that she was chosen by You for the highest calling in womanhood, and that to be a wonderful Mom to me. We pray for her, through Jesus Christ, who honored and elevated the role of women. Amen

Creator of this world, there is no rainbow in the sky to remind us of Your promise to mankind to never destroy the earth again with a flood. We are never in danger of that, but we need a ray of sunshine. Today, natural rains and torments have come and threaten to destroy property and cause havoc in our lives.
We pray, in Your mercy, that You would protect us from the devastation of flooding, the damage and the pestilence that comes with it.
We pray that You would hold back with Your mighty hand that waters that threaten to set our lives in upheaval.
We pray that in Your favor, You would calm the weather patterns and conditions that make this threat a reality.
We pray that the earth open up and receive the waters so that they might subside.
We pray that emergency measures and equipment might be sufficient to control the water.
We pray that properties would not be submerged in high waters.
We pray for homeowners will be spared from overflow into their homes.
We pray that our fears which we have lived through before, or have heard of occurring to locations be not a reality today.
We pray that You speak, "Peace be still," and calm these conditions that are menacing us.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, who has bid us to come unto Him in all our anxieties and burdens. Amen
